Play Me, I’m Yours
The 41 Pianos Project

The TORONTO 2015 Arts and Culture department will be producing one of its first installations as part of its Arts and Culture Festival program. The 41 Pianos project is based on the international artwork project Play Me, I’m Yours by Luke Jerram.
41 Pianos, 41 Pan American countries, 41 Artists, 41 locations all around the Greater Toronto Area. TO2015, together with its partners, is inviting you to come and play the pianos. Whether you play chopsticks or Chopin, perform solo or invite fellow musicians and jam, we want you to engage and start a dialogue with our city—and what better way than through music.

Local, professional visual artists from the 41 Pan American countries will be infusing the spirit and culture of their respective country as they visually design their respective pianos.
These visually stunning pianos are located throughout the city — from the airport to Sunnyside Park to Nathan Phillips Square. Try one or play them all, take a photo or video and upload the footage to streetpianos.ca.

Play Me, I’m Yours has been touring internationally since 2008, with over 400 pianos installed in city parks, squares, train stations, markets and even on bridges and ferries across the world. The presentation of Play Me, I’m Yours is brought to you in part by CIBC, Lead Partner of the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games.
