Porter Airlines becomes Official Canadian Airline of the TORONTO 2015 Games
TORONTO December 11, 2014 — Porter Airlines is helping the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games reach new heights as the Official Canadian Airline and a signature supporter of the TORONTO 2015 Torch Relays.
The airline will transport the flame during the Pan Am torch relay to communities across Ontario and beyond, helping to build enthusiasm and support for the Games, as well as providing general flight transportation needs.
“Many Canadians have enjoyed the convenience and hospitality of Porter Airlines, and they’re an airline that does so much to connect Ontario communities,” said Saäd Rafi, chief executive officer of the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games Organizing Committee (TO2015). “We especially look forward to working with them to help us get the Pan Am and Parapan Am flame – and the inspirational message it brings – to communities in Ontario and across Canada.”
Porter Airlines is currently celebrating eight years of service, having established itself as a leading carrier offering passengers a distinct approach to service. Porter serves a total of 20 destinations in Canada and the United States.
