Venues outside Toronto
- Milton: the indoor velodrome, now the Mattamy National Cycling Centre, the first of its kind in Canada built to international standard.
- Hamilton: the football stadium, now home of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
- Welland: the flatwater centre for canoe, kayak and rowing.
Getting around
During the Games, temporary transit routes and dedicated lanes connected the venues. Today most venues are reachable by public transit; check the local transit agency before you travel.
